Adult Volunteers (18+)

Group Leadership Team

We’re looking for volunteers from all back ground, who want to have fun, make friends and learn skills for life.

You could be doing anything from leading a climbing session to checking-in guests, to running a game for 20 Scouts.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Full training and support
  • Make new friends
  • Fun
  • Make a difference to young people
  • Rewarding experience to help grow and develop youth.

CAN I APPLY?

Absolutely! You might be on a gap year, taking a break from the world of work, or just looking to flex your volunteering muscles and get some work experience – either way, we want to hear from you.

We don’t ask for specific qualifications or experience – we’re just looking for bags of energy and enthusiasm, a passion for creating safe and exciting experiences for our visitors and a willingness to be outdoors – whatever the weather!

Scout Active Support – Adult

Scout Active Support allows parents to give their time to Scouting on a flexible basis. Parents can still be involved in Scouting without the full-time commitment of being a leader.

Volunteering with us is easy, fun and flexible – how much time you give is completely up to you. Whether you help out once a week, fortnight, month or just at special events or camps, there is bound to be a role you can play, and no matter how you get involved, we’ll make sure you’re properly trained and supported.
